University of the third age - Roseland
U3A Roseland and District is a member of the Third Age Trust providing educational, leisure and social opportunities for people not in full time employment living in and around the area of the Roseland Peninsula. Monthly meetings, often with an interesting speaker, take place at Portscatho and a series of interest groups ranging from Art to Family History meet regularly at Portscatho, Veryan, Tregony and Probus.
Other periodic events include walks and garden visits. All activities are open to members and visitors are also welcome to attend most of them, usually at a nominal charge. Members of ‘up country’ U3As who are visiting our beautiful area can be assured of a particularly warm welcome. Full information is available at www.u3aroseland.org.uk
